You won't be able to have a paid job as your too young. But as Angela said helping out is a good way to start off, you'll gain loads of experien
ce which will be helpful later on if you decide to get a job or take your career down a horsey route. It won't be easy, but you can also try doing odd jobs about the house to help your mum and maybe she'll see how hard you're working to try get a pony.

Have you tried your local riding schools or livery yards to see if they need any helpers? they probably won't pay in cash but you will learn a lot about caring for a pony and get to spend time with them.
